You can check into Air Malta flights online, on your mobile phone or tablet, or at the airport either by using a self-check-in machine or directly at the check-in counter. It is required that you check in at the airline desk at the departure airport if flying with pets or if you demand extra services onboard the plane.

Discover additional details about Air Malta check-in methods here.

Air Malta online check-in

Online check-in is available from 24 hours before departure and enables passengers to pick a seat and print their boarding pass or have it sent to their mobile phone (make sure of the availability of mobile check-in in the airport of departure).

In order to check in online for an Air Malta flight, follow the link.

Air Malta mobile check-in

Mobile check-in allows you to check in for your flight and download the boarding pass at your leisure. Possible from 24 hours before take-off, you may check in, book a seat, and get your mobile boarding pass, all on your mobile device. Ahead of your flight, be sure to check that mobile check-in is possible in the departure airport.

In case you have difficulty with your mobile boarding pass, you can go to the airline check-in desk or a check-in machine (where available) for a regular paper one. In the event you are experiencing issues with your phone, or have inadvertently deleted your boarding pass, the above also applies.

Air Malta check-in kiosks

These are the stand-alone computer screens for use in airports for checking yourself in. Always check that check-in machines are available before travelling to the airport of departure. Most check-in machines allow you to check in with either your passport or your last name and booking reference, which you will find on your booking confirmation.
