Thai Airways check-in

It is possible to check in with Thai Airways using several methods - online, on your mobile phone or tablet, or in the airport with a self-check-in machine or at the airline check-in desk.

Passengers who demand specific on-board services, or who are travelling with pets, are required to check in at the airline counter in the departure airport.

Discover more about ways to check in with Thai Airways here.

Thai Airways online check-in

Online check-in is possible 24 hours ahead of the departure and makes it possible for you to select your seat and either print out your boarding pass or get it in mobile version (be aware that not all airports have mobile check-in as a choice).

Online check-in for Thai Airways is available here.

Thai Airways mobile check-in

You are able to simply check in and download the mobile boarding pass to your device wherever you are. From 24 hours prior to departure, you can check in, book your seat, and get your boarding pass using your mobile phone. Mobile check-in is not possible in all airports, so it is important to look this up when planning your trip.

In case you have a problem with your mobile boarding pass, you can go to the airline check-in desk or a check-in machine (where available) for a regular paper one. If you’re having problems with your phone, or have mistakenly deleted your boarding pass, the above is further applicable.

Thai Airways self-check-in machines

These are the stand-alone computer screens for use in airports for checking yourself in. Always make sure that check-in machines are available prior to travelling to the airport of departure. With most check-in machines, you can check in using your passport, or by entering your last name and the flight booking reference (found in your booking confirmation).

Thai Airways check-in time: Deadlines

The point of check-in deadlines is to make sure flights leave on time. You should have checked in baggage and have your boarding pass – regardless of how you checked in – prior to the deadline.
