Our commission
MYFLYRIGHT operates under a “no-win, no-fee” policy. This means that if we do not succeed in securing compensation for you, you do not pay anything. Our commission is only charged if we successfully recover compensation on your behalf. The standard commission is 25% of the compensation amount, plus the applicable VAT (19%). For instance, if you are entitled to 600 € in compensation, the commission fee is calculated as follows:
- 25% Commission: 150 €
- VAT (19% on the commission): 28.50 €
This leaves you with a payout of 421.50 €. This transparent structure ensures you know exactly what to expect.
Partial compensation
In cases where the full compensation amount cannot be secured, the commission and VAT are calculated based on the actual amount recovered. For example, if only 300 € of the original 600 € claim is successfully recovered, the fees will be as follows:
- 25% Commission on 300 €: 75 €
- VAT (19% on the commission): 14.25 €
The remaining amount of 210.75 € is paid out to you. This ensures our fees remain proportional to the success of your case.
Additional fee for external lawyers
In rare cases, external lawyers may need to be involved. This can happen if the airline disputes the claim and legal action becomes necessary. In such cases, an additional 10% fee is charged, but only if the case is successful. If external lawyers are required and the compensation is partially recovered, the additional fee will also be proportional to the amount recovered.
For example, if 600 € is recovered and external lawyers were involved:
- 25% Commission: 150 €
- VAT on the Commission: 28.50 €
- 10% External Lawyer Fee: 60 €
This leaves you with a payout of 361.50 €.
If external lawyers are involved and the case is not successful, you will not incur any costs. MYFLYRIGHT operates on a strict no-win, no-fee basis, meaning all legal costs, including those associated with external lawyers, are covered by us if the case is not successful. This policy ensures that you are fully protected and face no financial risk, even in cases where legal action is required. You only pay a commission if we win the case and successfully recover the compensation for you.
98% Success rate
With a 98% success rate, the likelihood of a positive outcome is extremely high. Additionally, MYFLYRIGHT’s established cooperation with several German airlines often allows us to resolve cases without legal proceedings. Many airlines pay compensation voluntarily, making the process faster and more efficient for our customers.
Exceptional case
The only instance where we had to charge a customer our commission without a successful case occurs when the customer engages multiple competitor companies alongside MYFLYRIGHT. Trying to claim compensation multiple times is illegal. In such cases, where fraudulent actions are involved, we reserve the right to charge for our services even if the claim is not resolved. However, such situations are extremely rare and avoidable by adhering to our terms and conditions.
