Baggage delay / damage on an Air Italy flight
You have to report damaged or delayed baggage immediately, either to the Air Italy baggage tracing counter or the Air Italy service counter. Remember to maintain every flight document, first and foremost your baggage claim tag and boarding pass.
Written confirmation is always necessary, and a claim reference number. Till receiving your baggage, or your claim is resolved, it is essential to keep these documents.
