Jet2 check-in

You are able to check in with Jet2.com in a variety of ways, online, on your mobile phone, or in the airport with a self-check-in machine or at the airline check-in counter.

It is required that you check in at the airline desk at the airport in case of travelling with pets or when you need services onboard the plane.

Find more about how to check in with Jet2.com here.

Jet2 online check-in

Online check-in begins 28 days and up to 5 hours before the departure and makes it possible for you to pick your seat and either print out your boarding pass or receive it in mobile version (take into account that not all airports have mobile check-in as a possibility). To check in online for a Jet2.com flight, follow the link.

Jet2 mobile check-in

Available from 28 days and up to 5 hours before take-off, you are able to check in, book a seat, and get your mobile boarding pass, all on your mobile device. Make sure to check the possibility of mobile check-in in the departure airport.

A paper boarding pass can be picked up at a check-in machine (if located in the departure airport) or at the airline check-in desk, in the event something goes wrong with your mobile boarding pass. This additionally applies in the event you experience any issues with your phone, or in case you delete your boarding pass by accident.

Jet2 flight check-in machines

These are the machines which allow you to check in yourself at the airport. Make sure check-in machines are accessible in your departure airport before your journey. With the majority of check-in machines, you are able to check in by using your passport, or by entering your last name and the flight booking reference (found in your booking confirmation).

Jet2 check-in times: Deadlines

Check-in deadlines are in place so that flights take off according to schedule. Whichever way you decide to check in, make sure you have your boarding pass and that all necessary baggage is checked prior to the deadline.

For more detailed information concerning check-in deadlines for Jet2.com, please follow the link.

Jet2 luggage problems

There are a number of reasons why baggage can be damaged or does not get to the destination airport. Technical difficulties in the baggage handling area, poor weather conditions, or the baggage tag coming loose, can all lead to concerns with your baggage.
To find out how and where to make a claim for damaged baggage, or to find more information about how to track baggage which is delayed, go here.

Delayed / damaged baggage claim with Jet2

Damaged or delayed baggage has to be declared straight away at the Jet2.com baggage tracing desk or the airline's service counter. Make sure to save every flight document, especially your baggage claim tag and boarding pass.

It is a requirement to give confirmation in writing and your claim reference number. Until the delivery of your baggage, or your claim is settled, you need to keep hold of these documents.

You can also select to use MYFLYRIGHT to pursue your claim for problems with baggage, you can find more information here.

Jet2 travel classes

Jet2 Economy Class

This is the most affordable travel class of plane accommodation. Jet2.com offers Economy Class for every flight.

Depending on the country, particular regulations may need to be adhered to for minors (children under a certain age) who are arriving in or leaving from the country, whether they are travelling alone, or with an adult, regardless if that adult is the parent or not.

You always need to be aware of all necessary travel documents prior to the flight, else you could be denied entry or exit in a country.
