You can check into TUI fly flights online, on your mobile device, or at the airport either by using a self-check-in machine or directly at the check-in desk.
Passengers who need special on-board requirements, or who are flying with pets, must check in at the airline counter in the airport of departure.

TUI online check-in

Passengers may check in online from 30 days and up to 5 hours before the departure, select a seat and print their boarding pass or have it sent to their mobile phone (first check mobile check-in is possible in the departure airport). To check in online for a TUI fly flight, follow the link.

TUI online check-in with mobile

Checking in and downloading the boarding pass to your device is easy, fast, and enables you to prepare for your flight no matter where you may be. From 30 days and up to 5 hours prior to departure, you can check in, book your seat, and get your boarding pass with your mobile phone. Make sure to check the availability of mobile check-in in the airport you are departing from.

A paper boarding pass can be obtained at a check-in machine (if located in the departure airport) or at the airline check-in desk, in case something malfunctions with your mobile boarding pass. In the event you are having difficulties with your phone, or have mistakenly deleted your boarding pass, the above further applies.

TUI fly check-in machine

These are the stand-alone computer screens available in airports for checking yourself in. Make sure the airport you are departing from has check-in machines ahead of travelling. You are able to check in for your flight with your passport or by inputting your last name with your flight booking reference (this is on your booking confirmation), with most check-in machines.

TUI flight check-in deadlines

The purpose of check-in deadlines is to guarantee that flights take off on schedule. Ahead of the deadline you should have your boarding pass, however you checked in – in person, online, via your mobile phone, or if you were automatically checked in – and baggage must also have been checked in.

TUI carry-on baggage

The class of your flight ticket decides the number of carry-on baggage items you are allowed on a TUI fly flight.

The carry-on baggage has to meet the airline’s regulations. When your baggage does not conform to TUI fly's carry-on regulations, you are required to check it in at the airline counter or, if available, at a self-service bag drop kiosk. Please note that you might be charged in the event that you have to check this baggage.

TUI luggage problems

When baggage gets damaged, or does not arrive at your destination, it can be a result of a variety of reasons. Issues with your baggage can be due to technical difficulties in the baggage handling area, poor weather, or the baggage tag falling off your luggage.

TUI delayed baggage / damaged baggage

A report should be made right away to the TUI fly baggage tracing counter or service desk in the unfortunate event your baggage is damaged or is delayed at the arrival airport. Every flight document must be kept, most crucially your baggage claim tag and boarding pass.

You have to always provide your claim reference number and written confirmation. Make sure you have this till receiving your baggage or your claim is settled.

Travelling with children on TUI airlines
