Croatia Airlines check-in

You can check into Croatia Airlines flights online, on your mobile phone or tablet, or at the airport either by using a self-check-in machine or directly at the check-in counter.

In the event you are travelling with pets, or if there are particular on-board requirements which you demand, you must check in at the airline check-in desk in the airport.

Discover further details about Croatia Airlines check-in options here.

Croatia Airlines online check-in

Passengers may check in online from 36 hours before the departure, select a seat and print their boarding pass or receive it on their mobile phone (first ensure mobile check-in is possible in the departure airport).

Online check-in for Croatia Airlines is provided here.

Croatia Airlines mobile check-in

For added ease, you can opt to download your mobile boarding pass, making it possible to check-in whenever you want. Mobile check-in is not possible in all airports, so it is important to check this when planning your flight.

If there are any issues with your mobile boarding pass, you can collect a conventional paper boarding pass from a check-in machine (if available in the departure airport) or from the airline check-in counter at the airport. This further applies in case you experience any issues with your phone, or if you delete your boarding pass inadvertently.

Croatia Airlines check-in kiosks

These machines make it possible for you to check yourself in at the airport. Make sure check-in machines are available in your airport of departure prior to your journey. You can check in for your flight with your passport or by inputting your last name plus your flight booking reference (this is on your booking confirmation), with most check-in machines.

Croatia Airlines check-in deadlines

Check-in deadlines are essential to guarantee on-time take-off for flights. You must have checked in baggage and have your boarding pass – whichever way you checked in – ahead of the deadline.

For additional detailed information in relation to check-in deadlines for Croatia Airlines, please follow the link.

Croatia Airlines luggage problems

Baggage getting damaged or failing to get to the destination is due to a variety of causes. A detached baggage tag, unfavourable weather conditions, or technical issues in the baggage handling area can cause baggage issues.

For details on claiming for damaged baggage, or tracing baggage which is delayed, follow this link.

Croatia Airlines baggage tracking / baggage damage

When your baggage is delayed or damaged, this must be reported straight away to the Croatia Airlines baggage tracing counter or the Croatia Airlines service counter at the arrival airport. Save all documents relating to your flight, above all your boarding pass and baggage claim tag.

It is necessary to provide written confirmation and the reference number for your claim. You need to keep hold of this till your baggage is delivered or your claim is resolved.
