airBaltic check-in
You can check in with airBaltic using a variety of methods - online, on your mobile phone, or in the airport with a check-in machine or at the airline check-in desk.
If you need specific services onboard the plane or are travelling with pets, you must check in at the check-in desk in the departure airport.
airBaltic online check-in
Online check-in begins from 24 hours prior to departure and enables seat selection and either printing of your boarding pass or downloading it to a mobile device (check mobile check-in is possible at the departure airport).
airBaltic mobile check-in
You can conveniently check in and download the mobile boarding pass to your mobile phone wherever you are. You are able to check in, select your seat, and get your mobile boarding pass 24 hours before take-off, all with your smartphone or tablet. Remember to check the possibility of mobile check-in in your departure airport.
In case there are any difficulties with your mobile boarding pass, you are able to pick up a regular paper boarding pass from a check-in machine (when available in the departure airport) or from the airline check-in desk in the airport. This is also possible if your phone has difficulties, or your boarding pass is deleted.
airBaltic check-in kiosks
These are the free-standing computer screens available in airports for self-check-in. Not every airport has self-check-in machines, so make sure that your departure airport does before your trip. With most check-in machines, you are able to check in with your passport, or by inputting your last name and the flight booking reference (found in your booking confirmation).
airBaltic check-in time & deadlines
Check-in deadlines are crucial to ensure punctual take-off for flights. You must have checked in baggage and have your boarding pass – regardless of how you checked in – before the deadline.
airBaltic baggage allowance
Your flight ticket travel class decides the carry-on baggage allowance when flying with airBaltic. Carry-on baggage must comply with the regulations of the airline. If your baggage does not meet airBaltic's carry-on regulations, you have to check it in at the airline counter or, if available, at a self-service bag drop kiosk. You may need to pay additional fees for this.
Delayed / damaged baggage: airBaltic policy
A statement must be made promptly to the airBaltic baggage tracing desk or service counter if your baggage is damaged or has not arrived at the destination airport. Be certain to save each flight document, most importantly your baggage claim tag and boarding pass.
You need to always give your claim reference number and confirmation in writing. Until your baggage is delivered, or your claim is resolved, you should keep these documents.
An alternative way to enforce a claim for problems with baggage is to make the claim by enlisting the help of MYFLYRIGHT, more details can be found here.
airBaltic flight ticket booking classes
The level of accommodation on an aircraft is dependent on the travel class of the flight ticket. The number of classes offered to the passenger is dependent on the airline. Passengers can choose from airBaltic's 3 travel classes – Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class. Cabin classes are then also split into invisible booking classes, which provide differing services.
airBaltic airport lounges
No lounge information available for this airline.
Travelling with children on airBaltic flights
Children who are from the age of two (2) must have individual seats.
Depending on the country, particular regulations may be required to be met for minors (children under a certain age) who are coming into or leaving the country if they are travelling alone, or with an adult, regardless whether that adult is the child's parent or not.
Prior to flying, ensure you have all required documents, to ensure you won’t be refused entry or exit by the country.
Children’s menu – can be pre-ordered in advance.
Flying with pets on airBaltic flights
Travelling with pets with airBaltic is allowed. Requires informing the airline when booking.
You can travel with pets, with an additional charge as additional carry-on baggage or for transport in the cargo hold – but this is contingent on the weight and size of the animal, together with country and other airline regulations.
