European Air Charter flight check-in policy

With European Air Charter, you may check in from 2 hours before the flight and check in ends 40 minutes before take-off. Passengers must have valid travel documents and ID ready to present at check-in.

European Air Charter check-in deadlines

Check-in deadlines exist to make sure flights take off punctually. Prior to the deadline you must have your boarding pass and baggage must also have been checked in.

European Air Charter baggage allowance

Here you can read more about European Air Charter baggage policy.

Carry-on baggage allowance

Carry-on baggage is required to adhere to the regulations of the airline.

Carry-on baggage dimensions – max. 55 x 40 x 23 cm
Dimensions of foldable garment bags – max. 40 x 30 x 20 cm

Checked-in baggage allowance

Free baggage allowance is related to your ticket fare and travel class.

Checked-in baggage restrictions

Specific information and instructions regarding carry-on baggage restrictions can be found in your booking confirmation.

Oversized luggage / excess baggage

For excess or special baggage items, some key points need to be kept in mind. For European Air Charter passengers, it is important to follow the instructions in your booking confirmation. For each baggage item which exceeds your baggage allowance, you will be charged an additional 3 € per kilogram.

Baggage policy for sports equipment

Passengers must make a reservation for sports equipment before travelling because there is a limitation on the amount of space available for these items.

Baggage problems

When baggage gets damaged, or fails to get to your destination, it could be a result of several reasons. Issues with your baggage could be due to technical problems in the baggage handling area, bad weather, or the baggage tag coming off your luggage.

Delayed / damaged baggage

Damaged or delayed baggage needs to be declared right away at the baggage tracing desk in the airport. It is crucial to save all flight documents, especially your boarding pass and baggage claim tag.

Written confirmation is always required, and a claim reference number. Make sure you have this until the delivery of your baggage or claim resolution.

There is also the opportunity to enforce a claim for baggage issues using MYFLYRIGHT, more details on this can be found here.
